Why we built it

It started with one father's question

A medical history should not be something a family can lose.

We are two brothers. One of us writes software; the other kept asking the same question about his daughter — what is her situation right now, and where is her file?

He wanted her record to be complete and current, and to be able to hand it to any doctor, in any clinic, without hunting for paper. Not once a year. Any day, at any hour.

Then the question stopped being personal. Families leaving their homes in the south during the war carried what they could. Medical files were rarely on that list. Clinics lost archives too — years of histories, prescriptions and results, gone.

A patient arriving at a new clinic with nothing has to start again: repeat tests, guess at doses, describe an allergy from memory. That costs money, time and sometimes safety.

So we built Ayadati. The record belongs with the patient, it stays current, and it travels with them.
